Your Complete Guide to Planning Aesthetic Appointments Before a Big Event

Whether you have a wedding coming up, a high school reunion, a milestone birthday, or an important professional event, timing your aesthetic treatments correctly makes all the difference. The goal is always to walk into that room looking like the most confident, radiant version of yourself and that requires a thoughtful plan with enough runway to let your results settle beautifully.

Six Months Out: Start Your Foundation

If you are new to neurotoxins like Botox this is the ideal time to begin. Starting six months before your event gives you the opportunity to see how you respond to treatment and make any adjustments before the big day. Everyone metabolizes neurotoxins slightly differently and knowing how your body responds gives your injector the information needed to perfect your result. If you are interested in a series of skin treatments like microneedling or chemical peels this is also the time to begin so you complete your series with plenty of recovery time to spare.

Four Months Out: Address Volume and Structure

This is the window for dermal filler. Filler takes a few weeks to fully settle and integrate into the tissue so treating four months in advance ensures your results look completely natural and not fresh on the day of your event. If you are considering Sculptra, a collagen stimulator that builds results gradually over time, four to six months out is when you want to start to see the full effect by your event date.

Six to Eight Weeks Out: Skin Treatments

If you are doing a series of skin treatments like HydraFacials, lighter chemical peels, or your final round of microneedling this is the window to complete those sessions. Your skin will have fully recovered and be glowing by the time your event arrives. This is also a good time to dial in your professional skincare routine if you have not already.

Two Weeks Out: Light Touch Ups Only

At two weeks before your event we can do a touch up of Botox if needed or a very light and conservative adjustment to filler if something needs refining. We would never introduce anything significantly new at this stage. This is about fine tuning what is already there, not starting something new.

One Week Out: Your Glow Facial

A gentle, hydrating facial one week before your event will leave your skin luminous and perfectly prepped. We love a HydraFacial in this window because it delivers immediate results with zero downtime and your skin will look radiant for your event.

The Week Of: Rest Your Skin

No new treatments, no aggressive products, no extractions. Let your skin breathe and recover so it shows up for your event looking its absolute best. Drink plenty of water, get your sleep, and trust the plan you put in place. Have an event coming up?
